Kristiaan Pelckmans (here) – earned his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the Catholic University Leuven (KULeuven) in 2005 with research on control engineering, system identification and machine learning. Since 2017, he has been associate professor at Uppsala University. He has a wide spectrum of (published!) interests, ranging from astronomy, biology to pure mathematics. Currently, he has been working on embedded system synthesis and wireless radio technologies, in various constellations including a.o. CERN. His contribution to life however is to participate, drive and nurture his young family.

Peter Kurzwelly – with a background in entrepreneurship from founding startups in multiple sectors and from the founding team of AI Sweden, Sweden’s national center for applied artificial intelligence. Peter has extensive experience in guiding Swedish organizations on leveraging AI to solve complex problems, enhance competitiveness, and create value. He has shared insights from his experience in Canada’s leading AI ecosystem, emphasizing strategies and lessons applicable to other countries and industries. Peter also co-hosts the AI Sweden Podcast, discussing AI leadership and implementation in organizations. His work focuses on the transformative potential of AI across various sectors, advocating for education and proactive planning to integrate AI effectively into business operations.

Carolina M.S.C. Amaral – Antenna and RF Engineer (Ph.D. Eindhoven Univerity) with expertise in designing and implementing advanced communication systems. I have worked on projects ranging from automotive antenna systems to cutting-edge research in optical wireless communications (OWC) and millimeter-wave technologies. Holding a Doctorate, MSc and an EngD, I bring both strong academic foundations and hands-on industry experience to innovative projects in telecommunications.
